Amen runs on your phone. It does not collect your data, there is no account to create, and no server of ours receives anything from the app.
Nothing.
We do not operate a server that receives your information. There is no Bract Studio account, no cloud sync, and no database anywhere holding your data.
| What | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Verses you save or favourite | So you can return to them | Device only |
| Moods you select | To choose which verses to show you | Device only |
| Your settings and widget choices | To remember how you set the app up | Device only |
Uninstalling Amen deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else.
When you share a verse, Amen hands the text to Android's own share sheet and you choose where it goes. Amen does not post anything on your behalf, has no social media integration, and does not know which app you picked. From the moment you tap share, the receiving app's privacy policy applies, not this one.
The widgets draw verses from the content bundled inside the app. They read nothing from your phone and send nothing anywhere.
Any purchase you make is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or receive your card number, billing address or any other payment detail — Google confirms the purchase to the app and nothing more. Refunds and payment queries are handled by Google Play under its own terms and privacy policy.
Amen is not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone — including children under 13, or the equivalent age in your country. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to delete on request.
We share nothing, because we hold nothing. We have never sold user data and have no mechanism to do so.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. Bract Studio holds no personal data about Amen users, so there is nothing for us to return or erase.
Everything Amen touches lives on your own device and is under your control: revoke any permission in Android Settings, or uninstall the app to remove it all at once.
Amen complies with Google Play's Limited Use requirements. Data the app accesses on your device is used solely to provide features that are visible to you in the app, is processed locally on the device, is never transferred to any server, and is never used for advertising, profiling or credit assessment. It is never sold.
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above changes with it. We recommend reviewing this page from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted here.
